to have clean clothes is not to be a mother

The other day, I noticed something. You would have thought that I would have realized this before, but there you have it. I had just taken my shower and gotten clean close on. My daughter came up to me and gave me a hug. And my clothes were dirty again.

I am finding that I have to change my clothes before I leave the house so that I am not covered in kids stuff. I do not have a shirt that is not stained with something, even the shirt I just bought two weeks ago.

I know that this stage will be over when I no longer have babies and toddlers, but it would still be great to have something to keep my own.

The sacrifices we make as mothers ... :)
