Beginning School in 2013

Today is a big day for Ryan.  It is the first day of 6th grade, which means that he is a middle schooler now!  He was so excited to go and BE ON TIME that he was going to try to convince me to take him when the bus was 5 minutes later than expected.  I love that boy!

Here are my girly girls.  Jenny gets to go to 2nd grade this year, and Samantha is in 1st.  I swear, I didn't mean for them to wear clothing that matches their backpacks! :)

Sam was upset that Ryan got to go to school earlier than her, because she really really just wanted to go! :)

Good luck my darlings on your first day of school, and, as Jenny said to me this morning, on every day of school this year.  I love you kids!

Silly Sock Day

It is Red Ribbon week this week at the elementary school. Today is silly sock day. :)

First Day of School (August 22, 2011)

Well, finally I am getting to posting the first day of school. Here are the three of them, all spiffy and ready to go!

Sam was so excited to be going to school for the first time. She is in Pre-k. At first I was worried that she would have a hard time, but these first few weeks has been really good. She is still excited to be going!

That first day, she didn't even look back when she got on the bus, she was that excited!

Jenny, of course, had no problem going to school. This is the third year she has gone, and she finally gets to go to kindergarten. At first she missed her old teacher a lot, but now she is adjusted quite nicely and still does really well.

Ryan is now in 4th grade. I still can't believe he is this old!:) He ended up getting one of the teachers he was supposed to have in 2nd grade. She is a great teacher, and we are excited about this year for him.
