singing to the tune of "Snowman" - In the house she melted, melted, melted....

So, I am not sure if I have already mentioned this, and I am too lazy to look back, so oh well.

Since I have been in this house I have lost as much as 20 lbs. At the moment, because of Christmas it is a 17 lb. weight loss. I am actually below my pre-pregnancy weight for Ryan!

*Jumping for Joy*

I went and got some clothes that fill the other day, and it is amazing what that does for reality. I knew that I was losing weight, and that my clothes did not fit anymore (2 sizes too big), but it was actually real once I got into clothes that fit. And then some are starting to get loose again. Really.

And I have done nothing but live in a house with stairs. Good move eh? And to think I fought the move tooth and nail when it was happening!

Anyway, I am at a plateau now, so I think that when it starts to not be so cold outside, I will start walking. We have a great neighborhood for that. But right at this moment it is 30 degrees out. And let me tell you, waiting for the bus this morning was a bit chilly!

OH, and as another note, since I have not mentioned it lately, I LOVE MY HOUSE!!!! I love it more and more as time goes on. And I am more able to appreciate what I have since it is clean, as I mentioned in my last post. And it is amazing to have a place for everything! I am loving the toy closet even more today. It is amazing also what a night of sleep will do for perspective! I have a problem with seeing all of what I have accomplished unless I leave that area for a while, but it is great to come back and see it later!

Anyway, have a wonderful, splendiferous day my friends out there!

(gee, can you tell I am happy?:) )

Congrats on the weight loss! And on the house! I dream of having both of those some day :)

I'm so proud of you Liz!!!! This is so exciting. I bet you feel so much better too. As your next step you could try to drink your daily amount of water. I hear that helps a lot too and makes you feel better. It's easier than an actual "diet" too. I HATE that word. I think it makes you actually want to eat worse than you were before. Just a thought.

I agree about the diet thing! Though I have been eating less as well. Same stuff, but less of it. You know, actually stopping when I am not hungry and not stuffing myself!

I do need to drink more water as well though, and thank you for the reminder. :)

Awesome. My parents got a Wii Fit, and I tell you I've finally found exercise I can do every day without going anywhere! (We're in their basement apartment.) Plus it has lots of variety and plenty of instant gratification. Hopefully all that will help me start "melting" too. ;)
