Brideshead Revisited

So, I watched Brideshead Revisited today. The one word that comes to mind is - HUH? I don't get it. What was the point of this movie. For some reason I thought that it was a romance drama - not so much. I was in the mood for a feel good movie. For some reason I did not understand that this was not that. So, anyone(alisha) want to explain the point to this one?

Well, I suppose the first question is are you a fan of either the book or the 11 hour mini series? If not, you might have a chance of enjoying this film as a classic. If not, well ... hmmm, then its up to how you like your remakes that honor the original film but actually follow the classic story.

There is a link to a bunch of reviews. Hopefully something there will help you make heads or tails. Now, I actually really do like the book. I haven't seen the origingal mini series but will put this movie on my to-rent list and get back to you. Sorry I don't have a personal opinion about it now. Haven't seen it.
