We went to the Houston Museum of Natural Science today. This is one of the many mineral formations they have in their gem section. I have a fondness for rocks and such, because my my grandparents were "rock hounds". They had a two room shop in their back yard, and every time we went to visit my siblings and I would beg to go look. And then we would beg for a certain rock! :)
