All the Drama

Well, on Monday, the house that we really wanted and did not get, went back on the market. Because of this we were able to change our offer and we are now under contract! Our current closing date is August 22, but we are going to be working really hard to make it sooner than that, and we are going to be praying really hard that there will not be a storm in the gulf. That could delay closing because the insurance will not bond to the house until it is cleared out. It will be interesting to see how busy this hurricane season is! Anyway, we ended up offering 103k, which made it the same as the offer that bumped us out last week. WE ARE SO EXCITED!!!!!!! This is the only home that we have looked at that we both feel is "our" house - in no more than 7 weeks it will be ours! I just wish that we did not have to go through all of the drama to get there!
