so, we got a lot of water last night - they say that is is about 10-12 inches in our area. I am glad that Darrell had a ride to work, because he would not have been able to leave the house!

That is kind of scary. HOpe you are okay.
Well, not as scary as the hurricane! It would have taken a lot more for the water to reach the house. I am glad that we were not one of the ones that have been flooded - there are several in the area that did.
