So, now it is summer time. And we have the loveliness of Hurricane Season and the Heat Index. What affects us the most is the heat index.
For those of you who don't know, the heat index tells us how hot if FEELS as opposed to how hot it really is. For instance, even though it is only going to be about say 97 today, it is going to feel like 105. It mostly has to do with how much humidity there is at the moment.
I am so grateful for air conditioning!

Just imagine what it was like BEFORE air conditioning was invented!
