So, yesterday - not so good. By the time Hubby came home from his first job I just wanted to crawl into a hole for a while.
Then I went up to our room and he presented me with flowers. He never does that unless ...
oh no.
It was our anniversary.
OOPS!
I had done it again.
I did it last year too.
I started to sob.
And he laughed.
Later he ended up getting off of his second job early, we threw the kids at grandma, and went to Studio Movie Grill for an impromptu date. We finally got to see Harry Potter, and had a good dinner while doing it.
From now on I am going to color the date in with neon, so I don't forget again.
BTW, we have been married for 8 years now. Time sure does fly.

congrats. I found it hilarious last year that you forgot and to carry on the tradition ... bravo for you :) If you had remembered, you just wouldnt be the woman we all love! Happy anniversary
Congrats! Yesterday was our anniversary too! Nine years for us!
That's to funny! My husband and I are rarely in the same state when our anniversary rolls around. It seems like one of us is traveling for some reason or another.
We both have the same anniversary year :) Cool!!
Hilarious that you forgot your anniversary two years in a row. I guess we are lucking having ours around a holiday that everyone celebrates! It's makes it really hard to forget. Congrats for making it 8 years!
