Last month Ryan decided he wanted to make some snowflakes. And then asked if he could put one on the window on the door in our den. This is how it turned out:
Nice, huh? I like the idea. So, I have decided that we are going to decorate this door every month. I have finally come up with what I wanted to do - stained glass hearts. Here is how you make them:
1. Make a template of the hearts, and cut them out of construction paper.
2. Glue the hearts to some tissue paper.
3. Cut the hearts out again, and tape to the window.
I let the kids help with the glueing because we have somehow lost all 4 of our kid scissors! Anyway, I am VERY please with how this turned out. Now, what to do for March ... ?
Summertime!

That look beautiful. I have doors just like that, we may have to try this.
You could do Easter eggs in March since Easter is the first Sunday in April, and then switch to flowers or something for the spring.
Or shamrocks until St. Patty's day and then Easter stuff.
I'm tellin' ya, kiddos make the best interior decorators!
Cute! I'm doing something like that for school on Tuesday but slightly different. I would do four leaf clovers with pots of gold with a leprechaun in the middle.
That looks awesome!
This is great! I'm going to have the boys do this tomorrow. Thanks for the great idea :)
